Makes perfect sense if you think about it... Improves rigidity of the nose fairing so it doesn't distort and collapse and blow all over the damn place thus improving your handling because your bike it's about to fall apart. lol

That's why the new crop of way faster bikes have them...


It's a fairing stay... it makes the mirrors and bodywork not shake horribly

All bikes have one. It's not as though a big ugly contraption is better than a tidy tucked away version of the same thing
