Soon to be a RC51 owner

Iím about to buy a friends RC. The bike is a track bike and half the miles are track miles (4000 miles). Iím buying the bike to ride on the street. The total miles on the bike are around 6000. Am I making a mistake buying this bike? What should I look for? It has tons of mods iíve kinda did a half ass search on prices and for the miles and mods itís a killer deal. Need input.

Buying a bike that has been on a track should be no huge deal as long as the bike was maintenanced properly. As for the mods...thats like buying a used car with mods...yeah they are nice but dont ad a whole lot to the value.

RC51 with Sato pipes or Ohlins equipment...may a few buck more, but I wouldn't equate extras into the whole value of the bike. (But that is just me...)
