New Owner -What does this thing have?-

For anyone who hasn't seen my other thread in "new riders" section, I just traded my track car for this beast. Currently, this bike has more hp and tq than my DD car.

The guy who owned this before me rode it only twice in 5 years. There are mods from a prior owner an he knew next to nothing about the bike. I noticed there are some go fast bits that aren't OEM, but don't know the extent of it.

Please take a look at the pictures and let me know if you see anything that is aftermarket.

So far, I count: grips, undertails, Microns (are these slip ons or full exhaust?), seat, stickers (to be removed), power commander 3, maybe rear suspension???

I believe Sir you have made a very good trade. The Microns are slip-ons. Please do me a favor and lose the novelty stickers.

It has an alarm, slip ons and power commander and some small cosmetic things (stickers). I don't see any real crazy go-fast bits.

Apparently you did pretty good. Looks pretty stock to me except for the obvious. I'm certainly no guru tho, newb to rc's. but had a lot of hands on with my rc and some research, a lot of which come from this forum.

welcome to the forum, very nice looking bike...........try to get your hands on a seat cowl, some new front blinkers (integrated), def some frame sliders (I'm partial to SATO soooo), don't know how comfy the seat is but you can always check a sargent seat out (they are amazing)................rear shock is stock...................oh yea, don't forget your HRC reservoir socks, adds like 10hp...............nice pickup!!

Anyone know anything about that Gorilla alarm system? It's currently not plugged in. Previous owner said it went off one night in his shed, he didn't know how to turn it off, so he just unplugged it.

Just take the alarm out. It's probably more hassle than worth and you'll save nominal weight.
