New Member 2001 SP1 RC51

Hi there,

I've just put a deposit down on a 2001 SP1 at a local bike dealer. It's a 25,000 mile, 2 keeper only with full service history bike and all for £3,000.

It's currently got the below noted mods, but most will be replaced by standard parts which all come with the bike;

Micron Hi-level cans (in an odd pink/red colour and definitely being removed)
Corbin gel seat
Oxford Sports heated grips
Billet aluminium adjustable levers
R & G Crash Protectors
Rear hugger
Rear undertray
Braided hoses
Double bubble smoked screen
Mini Indicators

I'm looking forward to the snow going and getting it out on the road, until then just a lots of cleaning and polishing and annoying the neighbours by running it in the garage.

Hi Deer Dodger. Welcome. I've just joined this week and am also in Scotland. Sheep Dodger is probably more appropriate for where I am up in the North East. Only another 4 months and the snow should be gone.

Hi Andy,

the wait is going to kill me, but it will give me time to take the bike all to bits and clean it all up and get to know it.

Hopefully I will always live up to my username, they're a pain and a danger.

How much did you pay? if that's not being rude.

regards

John
