Greetings all.
I've been riding about 25 years, but started as a young teen on a dirt bike. I still ride almost daily and am a petrol head, having a collection of quick cars and a few bikes. Today I added another to the collection & bought myself a mint run-in mileage KMX200 to have some fun off road with. I'm 42, but getting more childish with age, despite being a dad.
I've been an RC51 owner now for 4 years and I'll never part with my SP2.
So far in 40,000km I've changed everything from the intake (Turnone) to the exhaust (Akra full works system no less). Wheels are forged 7 spoke PVM's and the suspension's been sorted by Maxton in UK whilst the bike lives with me in Fuji, Japan. Lately I've managed to warp the front discs, so I'm awaiting Braketech Axis discs, a radial conversion for 108 calipers and some race spec. Discacciati calipers to compliment the Brembo 19mm master cylinder that's been on the bike since the day I bought it. It's got a lot more stuff and no doubt will continue to be modified. Japan is 75% mountains so t's a bit of a biking mecca that few people living outside Japan know about. Hope to learn from people here and maybe share some of what I've learnt about bikes & maybe Japan too.
