RC newbie

Hey hope all is well.
I just traded a Kenny Boyce with 107" S&S for a 2000RC with 25,000 miles. Its been taken good care of or so it seems. It has fallen over but barely did scratch it, but to my knowledge never been down rolling. It has MIG exhaust and I was told that it had been mapped, but dont know for sure. Dont like the tires at all but they will be changed ASAP. Everything else looks stock. He had fork seals done last year sometime. The front end is dropped pretty extreme, makes me really feel over the front wheel entering a down hill sharpie. I will probably raise it some, until I get more comfortable on the bike.
Been 9 years since I straddled a sport bike so its taking some time getting back in the rythm and this is my first VTwin sport bike. Plus Im not too far from some good mountain riding. I live about 30 miles below Suches GA.
Thanks Jason

Yeah you're in a good area to equalize wear on all sides of the tires!!

If the forks were raised too far up in the triple clamps, it might make the bike a bit twitchy.
I'd put them back to OEM position (1st ring down from fork caps, and level with top clamp) then re-evaluate the handling.

I was going to move them tonight and then got called into work. That seems to be the way it works here lately. I did ride it down to the office and hit some of the back roads and was able to open it up coming out of a few long sweepers and man what a blast. Im starting to see why everyone likes these things so much . Bad thing is that the tires almost fill square "if that makes sense" you roll in and then all of a sudden bam it drops hard into a turn. I will say though the front fills alot better on more of an open road with longer turns and off the brakes more.

Hey fellas I will try and post some pics ASAP.

New look

New look, and I think I found my leaky tank issue. Im assuming they had the tank off recently, dont know why but hopefully thats the only reason it was leaking. The inside looks clean.
