New here.

Hi all,

I have recently aquired a gorgeous 01 RC after what seemed to be a hopeless search (at least locally). She's #62, 9100 miles, and it tip top shape. Full akra exhaust, custom paint, and ods and ends here and there. I am owner #3 and both PO's are here local.

2nd day I had her I took her to the mountains around Cloudcroft NM to bond and she did amazing. Whooped up on some fireblade tail in the twisties and brought me home grinnin ear to ear. Thank god for the exhaust or else they would have heard me laughing and screaming in joy the whole way.

I have always loved the RC. This is the bike I watched Edwards and Hayden stick it to the 'talians on. This was the reason I ditched motocross and bought a street bike. The character is irreplaceable.

Plans are to keep her lightly modded with the stock stuff close at hand and ride her like she is meant to be ridden, mostly in the canyons. Once I move back home I would like to pick up another one so I can mothball one and ride the other. Despite the technical and ergonomical differences of the new bikes this is my dream bike, my Eleanor.

Welcome. Eleanor -- How appropriately awesome!!! Your bike is just different enough to carry such a legendary name too. Are those silver wings paint or decals?

Super nice bike!

Thanks everyone! The silver wings are done just like the stock ones The RVT Racing decal is the only decal I have considered revising however the white is a nice contrast for now.
