from southeast Missouri.

Hi to everyone. First to rc51s, but not bikes. Previous bikes are as follows,99 gsxr 600, 74 cb360, 74 cb 750, cb 550, super sweet 86 honda elite 80 scooter. Sold everything but the elite scoot because I didn't have that much time and possible pending divorce. But I'm back on the hunt and rc51s have always held my eye. The twin sound. Amazing. So I'm on the lookout and any advice is appreciated. Unsure of what exactly to look for, as the last twin I had worked on was a 55 harley! I would think that the cam gear driven motor is pretty reliable. Rode a vfr a couple of times and that was a great sound as well.

Welcome to the site. Some small updates but worthwhile differences in the SP2 vs the SP1, but both renditions of the RC51 are worthy of consideration regardless of which one you find. Different swingarm and a tad more oomph and better cooling (although they are all hot blooded beasts). Lots of very knowledgeable members from which to draw info from. Good luck in your search and be picky, it'll pay off in the long run.

Duct tape can't fix stupid...but it sure helps muffle the sound
