New to the RC..

Hello Names Ed. Just picked up an 02 with 21k on the clock. It's been down and I'm in the process of getting it road worthy again, which it's not too far off.
Been riding most of my life, the last 6 years I've been on a 1997 900RR. I'll be scouring the forums trying to find answers as I begin reassembly!

Thanks for having me ??

😂😂😂 yeah this actually my 3rd Honda to ride, started on an F2. Just here to learn really. I tend to become a bit of a student of my passions and this bike is beginning to consume me

The RC51 has a tendency to do that to some folks. It's happened to most everyone here!
Welcome to the forum.

I found your intro deadsp0t (Ed)

As you & the other guys mentioned I went from the 900 to the 1000 also.. I've had about 2 dozen Hondas over the years from z50 to XR100 to a CR250 to F2 600s a SmokingJoes F3 to a 900rr then bought a brand new 929 in 2000 when it went fuel injected.. rode the piss out of it until 2002 when I sold it & bought an RC 51..

For me it was a progression leading up to the RC 51 .. seems to me it's sort of the gentleman's choice in a world full of gsxrs & busas & ninjas etc. The 51 just has a special place in my heart as I appreciate a lot of its unique qualities & especially the racing lineage

Anyways welcome to the club there's a lot of very knowledgeable guys here on the forums who share the passion so learn all you can & most of all enjoy the ride!
