Just bought a 2004 Rc51. I have been looking for one for about a year or so. This one almost stock. Has two brothers slip-ons and soto controls. Going for the first ride later today. I also own a 2005 S4r. Thank you for the add.

Would like some help finding the best fender kits and turn signals. And any other mods that work best. Thank you again.

Hey man, I'm not terribly far from you. It would be nice to connect with another RC guy!

Bike should be back on the road in a week or 2.

Yes, it's been up and running for a couple of months now. I took it on a 200+ mile ride last Saturday.

I've been working toward getting the VFR back up and running now. I still have a few tasks left on it, primarily the chain and sprockets, brake pads and respray of the front and side fairings. Last week my back decided to go into hissy fit mode which has prevented me from getting much done around here but hopefully it will be ready in a couple of weeks. Give me a shout if you'd like to ride sometime.

Welcome Porkchop. I'd say billet signals from Watsen & carbon parts from Magical Racing are the nicest you can get, but you may also want to check out our resident DHC's carbon products and there are other flush turn signals such as Proton that people swear by.

There's lots of upgrades possible. Perhaps check out some of the bikes and build threads to get some ideas. There is one thread started by extrapolator which lists most of the parts possible to obtain, you'll find it if you search.

These SP's respond well to better suspension & geometry, 15/51 sprockets, air boxes & power commander combined with better exhaust and being made lighter. Enjoy!
