I have wanted an RC since before I had a motorcycle license and I read about it in a magazine. I wanted it even more once I saw one in a parking lot (black and shiny) and then heard him rip it out of there. I wanted one even more when they came down to my price range and I picked one up for ~$5k. It's the least comfortable, most obnoxious, and neediest bike I have ever owned. That said, I love every minute of it. The goal is to find a way to keep this and a second bike that I can ride regularly. I can only handle the RC for about an hour before I need a break. Most of that is due to heavier traffic and awful roads. However, once I hit those perfect roads near me with nobody in front, I can't imagine have more fun on any bike. Once I'm tired and hungry and on my way home though, I am reminded of why I want another bike in my garage, lol. I know a lot of people knock the looks and it was regularly compared to Ducatis, but the race decal version, to me, is everyone a sport bike should look like. I regularly open my inside door to the garage through the winter, turn on the light, and just look at it. The only issues I have are finding body pieces that are busted or Chinese made, and finding out how annoying some of the simple fixes on other bikes are on the RC.
I have the full titanium/carbon Akro on my bike and it's amazing. I have the stock exhaust in my basement, and short of an accident claiming my exhaust, it will never see the light of day again. I had issues with the rivets coming off one side and the can pulling apart. I ended up putting it back together, new rivets, and added 2 more rivets to help. It has worked great so far!
