New victim in Pacific Northwest

Hey there folks,

I live in Portland Oregon and am an old man who has been riding bikes since I was a kid. Until last year, I have never owned a modern bike having an old bevel drive Ducati, a CBX and a Moto Guzzi. Last year I made the jump and purchased a KTM Smt 990; super fun bike.
And that made me want to try a bike with clip ons again as the last bike I owned like that was a 1988 Yamaha FZR 400. Well, I found a pristine 2002 RC51 up in Seattle and brought her home. The original owner did just about every mod that has been discussed on this forum and I am super happy with it. I just love Vee twins and this model hits all the buttons. I just love the sound of it winding up on the open road. I am hoping to meet other owner's and have learned an awful lot already from the great people on this forum. Thanks much!
Pablo

My SP1 forks are that color. Maybe early SP2's had it too?

Yes, those are the stock forks that the original owner had the internals rebuilt. Here's a photo of my old bikes. I do not know if anyone likes the old CBX's but I am just installing right now a 6 into 6 pipemasters exhaust system that is completely ridiculous and fun!
Thanks for the great welcome,....
