2001 RC51 owner

I purchased a 2003 RC51 brand new and I always wished that I had never sold it. Last year I found a 2001 RC51 that needed some TLC and am having a good time with it.
The rear was sort of boogered up with regards to the wiring. The ECU was just bouncing around the fiberglass undertail. I had to replace the rear bulbs/lenses from Hot Bodies. At the moment, I cannot get the front or rear brakes to activate the lights in the rear. Any help with a wiring diagram and wire color codes would be helpful.

Sweet mother of pearl! I got it! Hard to believe that I actually gave one of these manuals away with my original 2003 RC51.
THANK YOU!
Let the troubleshooting commence~

Tech question: Brake lights are not working. Running lights are good, turn signals are good, front brake switch and rear brake switch are good. Fuses are all good. Is there a relay that could be bad? 2001 model.
Wires checked=
Black wire with Brown stripe is the Turn Signal = working
Green wire with Yellow Stripe is the running lights = Working
Green wire ( I assume ) is the brake light. = not working
Front brake switch wires White with a green stripe and Green with a Yellow stripe, open/close tested good.

unfortunately the wiring is a mess. I found two green wires in the loom cut short. Wonder what they are for?
The ugly red butt connectors are my doing.
If there is such a thing as a 'rear wiring harness' I think I need one.

There are three wires that should run to the tail lights. These are Green/Yellow (Brake Lights), Green (Ground), and Brown (Running Lights). I've included below the Hot Bodies wiring instructions. Start with these and make sure they are correct before diving into anything else electrical. Since you found 2 Green wires that have been cut I would suspect it's the ground.

connect the right (blue wire) and left signal (orange wire) wires on the bike to the respective left and right orange wires on the undertail.

connect the ground wires (green) to the black wires on the undertail

connect the brake wires (green w/yellow tracer) to the red wires on the undertail

connect the running light wires (brown) to the blue wires

as usual, it was something dumb. The rear brake switch was wound all the way up. When I tested the open/close using a multimeter, i was pushing the pin in from the bottom. This was activating properly and I should have known it was "on" full time. It is now properly adjusted and functioning!
