Hey everyone. Yesterday I imported a 2000 RC51 from the US into Canada. It's been sitting in a garage and has not been run in over 10 years. I've not been able to power anything up yet so can't confirm that it only has 3,000 miles on it! It's clearly been dropped but it looks to be in fantastic shape. It'll take some TLC to get it up and running but I'm soooooooo excited. First thing is to find a manual but all I can come up with is broken links on the web. Does anyone have any suggestions or links to one?
Plan for now is to drain all the fluids before attempting to start it. I'll get some fresh oil in there and crank it over by hand first. Definitely needs a clutch kit and a new battery. I'd appreciate suggestions as to where to get parts. I live right on the border so can shop online in US and Canada as I have addresses in both places. Vehicle history report corroborates the mileage. Looks like it went down in 2001 and was rebuilt. My cousin was the next owner and well... he only rode it for a short spell and then parked it. It's been sitting in his garage.
