Crack in upper faring

First of i am choked because this happened. I am rebuilding a RC51/SP1 i had purchased a brand new upper faring from Honda dealer paying close to 600 dollars... Anyhow i parked it in my storage and didnt realise that the nose was leaning against the wall (Aluminium) when i pulled it out i realised that there was a clean crack..... have tried to glue it etc and its not working any suggestions??? Or do i just pony up another 600 for plastics......input appreciated. Also if you have one for sale or know someone that does please let me know.

Post a pic.

Bike plastics are usually ABS, so thats the type of cement (glue) you want. I had good results melting some ABS chips in acetone to make my own cement. Works great.

Get ABS sheet on Amazon. Some guys use Lego building blocks.

If you mess up trying to make your upper perfect, beinggodisgreat may give you something for the messed up item to help pay for a new one.
He is asking for an upper for track use: https://www.rc51forums.com/forums/42-...race-tail.html
