I know this might not be a big deal but it actually clean the inside of my trunk and I think it’s worth sharing/doing.

i did something similar but built a bracket on the outside of the subframe and used mountable relays to put them all in once place. cleans up the trunk a ton.

Nice, I made mine off the relay holder from 04-06 600rr.

Reason I have’em inside the subframe is so I won’t have to worry about contact when taking off the tail plastic. There’s alread R/R and starter relay on the left and cdi on the right side.

i know, i have the same bike.

i have my 3 relays in the back out of the way, then the RR then the starter relay relocated slightly (due to RR relocation when i swapped to a shindengen)

on the right i have my kls QS box, my CDI and my PCV

the only thing that causes trouble with fitting the tail section is the lame OEM brake fluid reservoir. if you get rid of that nothing else causes any grief.

putting everything on the outside makes for a tidy trunk. i also consolidated my turn signals and license plate light into a single 4 pin connector.

Ohhh you have 03-06 600rr too? Nice!!!
actually I know you were talking about your RC. I was just playing dumb, it just that I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or stating the obvious (which would also fall under sarcasm).

Anyway...Yep... I’ll be relocating the rear reservoir to 08+1krr mod. I’m not doing crf or hrc delete cuz than I’d be flushing the rear more often.

i know, i was just laughing at your explanation of where parts are on the bike.

no reason to flush more with a CRF master, you may have to top up a bit as the pads wear but i doubt that even.

Before I got my SPs, my wife want me to bring some to-go food after bike night. Well, buddy of mine offered me to put it in the trunk cuz it would definitely not fit in my R1, and I don’t believe him till we stuck it in there. It was so spacious that I believe we could fit another to-go box. So yea 6tall-boys would most likely fit in there too. lol
