I got a 51 that supposedly has ohlins cartridges. How do i tell without completely dismantling the forks?

Can't...gotta open it up if they are the 20mm cartridge or just a simple revalve. Unless they are claiming it's the 30mm cart kit, they have compression damping on one fork leg and rebound on the other (separated). They would also have fork cap extenders.

As for the 25mm cart kit I'm not sure if you could tell, hopefully someone else will chime in..

Not having dealt with Ohlins cartridges (only the valving), they may have a different rebound adjuster.
I have a set of forks with Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 cartridges, and instead of the brass tip on the rebound adjuster rod, their rod tip is aluminum.

That looks like the run of the mill stock Showa forks. Unless they have a cartridge kit there may be some differences like subsailor stated in a post already. If its just been revalved you would have to be pretty keen to tell the difference just by eye.

I think I may have been mistaken on my first post...LDH would be the go to guy for the answer.
