SP1 front fork dampers on SP2?

Can I take the dampers from an SP1 and use them on an SP2? I'd be keeping my SP2's triple tree, wheel, brake, etc. I'm just looking to swap the "shocks."
Thanks.

Everything will work and bolt right up except the brake caliper brackets. Those have to be an SP1 bracket on an SP1 fork, or an SP2 bracket on an SP2 fork. (The SP1 brackets may work on both models, but the SP2 won't.)

I'm always right.

Disregard the question in my pm... I'm still getting familiar with my RC51 and haven't really looked at it much since I "lost" it - too depressing. But I'm seeing the black, maybe powder coated, base at the bottom of the damper tube as an integral part of the tube itself and therefore couldn't be separated and fit to other tubes be them SP1 or SP2. Is that correct?

And the caliper bracket you refer to is the polished aluminum piece from that black base to the actual caliper. Is that correct?

Thanks

P.S. But do let me know if your damper tubes becomes available.
