Who sells rebound valve seals/rings?

Hi,

I'm wanting to rebuild the cartridges on my SP2 forks and was wondering if anyone sources rebound valve seals/rings of if I have to go with, for example, a Race Tech gold valve kit?

The forks have God knows how many miles though the oil looked new, the bushings where fine and the seals weren't leaking. Still, they are secondhand so I want to make sure all is well.

Thank you.

Robert

Ohlins makes compression and rebound valve kits, as well as Traxxion Dynamics, Race Tech, etc.

You can order OEM fork seals, dust seals, and bushings online from many sites, such as Honda East Toledo, MRCycles, etc.

I'd definitely order a set of bushings as some forks come apart relatively easy, while some can be a bit difficult, and as a result the bushings can get damaged.
And once its damaged, it no good.

I did, but I don't track the bike nor really have plans to.

New springs and valves have made this bike a whole different animal. Now, I can't wait until my Penske shock is done.

Nice man. I was hoping to put one of those nice yellow Swedish-made deals on the back. Gotta get some more budget going first though.

Thanks for your input.

As mentioned by SS, there are a variety of options you can choose from. Each option fits a certain price point. Check out the Ohlins fork guide sticky in this forum. There is a basic Ohlins 20mm valve kit discussed, and Dan Kyle offers it installed with some other good mods for a basic front end build. You could also have him do new seals and bushings, etc, with the work.

Lots of things to consider and it depends on how much you want to spend. Check it all out.

Nice man. I'll give him a call and see how much just to do my cartridges since I have my forks apart. Thank you.
