maxton shock

Original shock was a bit to harsh for me so im hoping this will work better than the original shock?

Maxton RT10 Set up for my weight
High and low speed compression damping, rebound, preload and ride height adjustment.
Cant wait to fit it, dropped my forks off to them this morning as i was going to pick the shock up so decided to bite the bullet.
Thats it as far as the modifing goes, apart from the stuff i have bought but not put on the bike yet

Looks like a nice piece of kit, local company too.

I'd be interested to know how this compares to the stock unit or the Ohlins, both in price and performance, especially on the roads around here.

Yes that's what I read Dan positive benefits on an sp2 but shines on the original sp1, Is the mori link shorter than a standard link?

It alters the rising rate, the stock link is designed to ramp up the ratio as it progresses through the stroke of the shock, so if you are two up it wont bottom out
if you only ride solo and are light to average weight you will feel the advantage of a link
