DLC Coating / Ohlins Springs

Does anybody have any experience with DLC coating service?
And where would one procure a set of Ohlins OEM fork springs?

I'm interested in have my fork slide tubes coated, and would like to change my spring rate. I swapped OEM valving for Dan Kyle / Ohlins valving, seals, fluid etc. yet, neglected to change the spring rate. Any suggestions?

quite a few places can do them. It isn't cheap by any means. Dan Kyle can help with both I believe.

I found a couple places for $500-$600, I was planning on dropping KyleRacing an e-mail to inquire about the tube coating service. But, I may just settle for springs.

I had mine coated through Race Tech. It was not cheap. I want to say it was about $700. The tubes will have to be taken out of the bottom brackets. RT said they would do it at an additional cost. I chose to go with new tubes. I figured this would help with any variances through out the tube.

I talked to Mike at DK Racing about having it done and he said the biggest problem was the machining process after the coating is applied. The clearance between the inner and outer tubs is very tight.

Here's what I found :
DLC Coating
Lindemann Engineering
Motorcycle Fork Services and Prices - Lindemann Engineering
EBR Performance
EBR Suspension Services
Factory Connection
Specialty Coating - Factory Connection
Reactive Suspension
Fork and Shock Servicing, Coatings and Motorcycle Suspension Set-Up.

Fork Stanchions

Paolo Tarozzi, FTNK(Race Tech) only available for SP1 <--- This is a viable option only if 00'-04' fork stanchions are the same. But, the cost for both Stanchions is more than both Lindemann & EBR charges. Tarozzi are a lot cheaper, but I would still need them coated.

E-mailed Dan Kyle, he actually doesn't recommended the DLC coating. So, I'll just order springs, and put the money I'm saving towards the ladybird full system
