Is their a difference between the Sp1 and Sp2 front fork springs

The OEM SP1 spring is slightly longer then the SP2 spring, by around 6mm.

Will the sp2 spring work well in the sp1 front forks? Reason being im looking at a set of racetech springs but its for the sp2 and I have the sp1

I should think they would.
Race Tech supplies a bag of shims with their springs, so you should be able to use those to adjust the installed preload on the springs.
