Ohlins FG322 Fork Height

Ok I'm running a Ohlins 204 in the rear and just got some Ohlins 322 forks. Just wondering where a good starting point would be for the fork height. At 7mm from the top of the tube to the top of the clamp the bike looks like it's sitting way to high in the front. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I had them set at the 3rd line from top of the cap. And the shock had 3-4 threads on the height adjuster of the clevis.

I misunderstood your initial post, but oh yea that was definitely intentional... I spent a lot of time like that in my early years.

OK... On Ohlins FG832 & 322 forks the spec'd installation height is 2 rings showing above the top triple clamp. There is 4mm between each line on an Ohlins fork so that makes 8mm suggested by the installation manual.

I went back and found some old old old pics of my SP1 to see where I had finally ended up with the forks set at and it is indeed 7mm below the recommended 8mm in the manual for a total of 15mm from the top of the fork tube to the top of the OEM triple clamp.

& Sato agrees

Funny enough that is where the NIX Cartridge Kit Forks on my SP2 build just ended up along with 3 lines showing under the blue lock nut on the HO204 (with a KR Link) and a fat ass 55 series tire.
