Ohlins wrong spring weight....

Hey all I bought an ohlins shock for a good price. Now quick question.

The spring is for 180lb rider without gear.

I'm 230-240 without gear.

I know it won't be perfect for me. But do you think it's a problem If I install it like this and ride until I can send it in to get it setup for me??

Thx

Stiff

As long as you are just making trips to Hooters and Joe's Crab Shack it will be fine, but I wouldn't go shooting through the twisties with it. You'll get excessive rear end squat which will reduce ground clearance and rake out the front end which will push.
