Couldn't afford a new shock, so...

Took my standard one to HM Racing in Edenbridge, Kent, England, for a little tic.
New oil and re-gas, new K-Tech spring to suit my weight,, a shim stack tweak and a decent clean.
It seems a shame to hide it back in its Shock Sock, but that helps to keep the heat from the downpipes from heating the oil.

Less than 300 GBP including tax.

I'll give it a go for this summer; and if it's not what I want I'll start saving for an Ohlins.

300 Pounds is like 50% of the cost of a BRAND NEW Ohlins shock!

Yes I know I spoke to someone on the UK forum about your shocks as he had purchased one from eBay maybe two years ago and was astounded with how much more we get stung for. I did place an order for over £1500 of parts from America for my last SP as in the UK it was close to £2200 so I saved quite a bit even with import duty

On the other hand I just sold a standard toolkit for 105 gbp, so that paid a chunk of it, plus I also sold on the std rearsets and tail light I have no use for and a pair of sp1 clip ons, so it didn't cost me anything at all, really.

Yea I suppose it could have always been worse, you could have spent 300 Pounds on Marston's Pedigree instead
