Race Tech shock rebuild

G'day guys. Was wondering if anyone here has rebuilt their stock rear shock with the Race Tech gold valve and spring, and if so what are your impressions of it?

My advice, don't spend anything on the stock shock via race tech whatever...get some thing you know for sure is better, in my opinion you would be wasting your money on this.

The only I reason I said what I said is the OP may be on a strict budget...if that's the case then the Racetech stuff has to better than the stocker.

Sorry fellas, should have given more info. I'm on a relatively limited budget. A guy over here is parting his sp1 and it is said to have a stock shock with race tech gold valve and spring. I'm just getting an idea of your opinions to decide whether it's worth making an offer (would be a modest offer), apparently the shock has about 10k kilometers on it (6k miles).

I will say save your money and continue to check ebay and here for good deals. The last thing you would want to do is cheat yourself out of one of the most important upgrades on the RC

Thank you KPOWE1 !!!! This is exactly what I said at first.
Best to save your coin and get something worth getting. Not another pogo stick with fancy doodads on it.....the OEM is like a two pieces of wood with a rubber band for suspension, unless you are kwtoxman who swears it works just great for him
