Question PAIR Valve removal part 2

OK, I've got my 04 all apart taking the pair system off. I'm down to unplugging the d%$#@ solenoid and I can not for the life of me get to it. The plug is in a boot behind the left radiator. I can barely see it much less touch it. So, I tried loosening the radiator in hopes I could get behind it.... BUT NOOO it won't move much without draining and taking off the hoses. So, I'm thinking I'll just clip off the wires at the solenoid, cap them and heatshrink. If it is just an unplug anyway is there any reason for that to cause an issue?

Disconnecting the solenoid connector is one to disable the flapper actuator.
It won't cause any FI fault codes.
