SP1 Electrical vs SP2 Electrical?

ok so ive got a 2001 sp1 with an electrical nightmare. im wondering if i can use the sp2 wiring harness, plug wires, coils, cdi, and possibly even the ecu on my sp1. also, if anybody has these parts, im ready to buy.

The only common section between those two model's harnesses is the front one that connects to the headlights and the dash.
The rest is quite different at the radiator fans and their relays in the tail.
If you can modify the SP2 to fit the SP1 then good, otherwise better find a used SP1 harness in good condition like these

But if you have to buy a replacement, why not get a SP1 harness?

very easing to what i just did. bought a new wiring harness, sp1 regulator rectifier, plug wires and coils, and battery power cable. wiring harness didnt say sp1 or 2 or a year model. dropped 222.90 on this and hoping it doesnt go to waste.

Next time..(hind sight being a bitch and all) come here if you need anything like this. I am sure someone had a used one at some point you could have bought a bit cheaper.

http://www.hondaeasttoledo.com/ is great for OEM parts.
