If you don't have a steering stabilizer that blocks the location, the steering stem cap would be an ideal location. You can run the wires down through the stem and to the radiator, everything would be hidden and the switch would be in a convenient location.

Buy a honda kill switch without starter button and fit to the bars, shrink wrap cables and run along with the other cable behind headstock. It looks like it should be there.

Nope but I'm NEVER in town, I have some really nice twisty roads close to home 10min and I don't commute on the bike...it's my toy.

Didn't mean to offend...truth be told there is nothing practical about these bike.

yeah, starting to get that. with my old 400 if i needed to get somewhere quick in the middle of the city, do my appt and go home quickly then it was a pleasure and zero hassle. last time i did that on the rc51 the temp was all the way up to 130degrees, the temp warning light was on and i could have fucked my engine!

Shagging your engine at 130 Deg C could result in some nasty burns

Sounds like your fan isn't coming on for sure. I hope it is your fan switch. Usual culprit would be that (Just short it with the ignition on - using a short piece of wire and see if the fan comes on. If it doesn't it'll be the fuse or relay less likely to be a wiring fault unless someone's shagged your bike before you).

I don't have a switch either, it never gets too hot but then I have two fans and I don't ride it much in traffic either. There's more sensible bikes for that...

Euro RC51 SP2: HRC WSB Ti Hi-Level, T1 Airbox & Snorkel, PCIII, Dymag CA5 Carbon Wheels, Ti64 Spindles (F, R & Swing Arm), Mori Link, Maxton GP7 Shock & Ohlins 832 Forks, Brembo GP Calipers & SBK narrow track (F), Braketech Disc (R), Brembo billet Underslung x 2 Brembo RCS, Tyga Triple, 7075 Stem, Probolt Titanium all over, Babyface rearsets, MR Complete Carbon Lineup, Custom Undertail & CBR 1000 LED, Watsen LED Indicators, Harris Brace, Giles clip-ons, Corbin seat, etc. 2013 BOTY.
