Which battery tender?

The current owner said he has a Yuasa battery in the RC I'm picking up here soon. Based on Yuasa's vehicle selector, it says it would be their model YTZ12S.
He says it has tender leads installed, which type of tender do you guys suggest? I don't want to cheap out and take shortcuts, I want one that is correct for the battery. Thanks.

Any Deltran Battery Tender designed for 12v batteries will work just fine. Most people seem to buy the Plus or Junior models. I picked up a BT junior for $30 a while back and it works great. It doesn't recharge as fast the Plus model, but it works fine for my purposes to maintain the battery.

I accidentally drained my Yuasa YTZ12S (just like the one you listed) completely dead by leaving my grip warmers on. It took about a day and a half to recharge, but it works fine now.

Battery tender plus. It has temp compensation, more power (amperage) than most other trickle chargers, and 4 auto modes including float mode.

They have a version optimized for gel batteries too.

Thanks guys. I have a "Batteries +" right by me and they are listed as a retailer for the Plus model. I will swing by there and check it out.
