Alternate Triples fitment

What other triples can fit on SP1? Even if the steertube needs to be pressed out and swapped.

Matt, Steering head bearing became a standard size for Honda in 1997 (CBRs,S-hawks,cruisers,etc.) The SP-2,and Goldwings have the same diameter steering head bearings..
You can replace the complete front end with a CBR1000rr (complete) until the 2007, or a complete CBR929, or 954 frontend.
Some parts off the CBR -will adapt to the SP-1 RC-51, and vice/versa -Yet not alot.....
And you are correct -the SP-2 triples are basically useless to any other bike.... UNless you desire to put a SP-2 front fork assembly on a Goldwing....Ha Ha Ha(sports car suspension on a Dumptruck)

Let me know- As a last resort, I have a couple SP-1 triple sets (work well for putting RC-51 front end on a Superhawk).. I will think about letting go of set....

This is proven information. You can use the Upper & Lower triples off a CBR929rr, or CBR954rr/ and still use your SP-1 or SP-2 forks, RC51 front wheels(sp-1, or sp2) brakes,rotors...
Now the geometry of the RC-51,S-hawk or other bikes will change..
So measurement of bike suspension heighth -WILL need to be taken , before replacing, or taking the OEM frontend off your RC-51....
