recurring problem

as most of you know ive replaced my coolant hoses. whilst on a ride today one of my hoses popped off and i had to pull over. its the fat hose that comes of the thermostat on the left side of the bike and connects to a Y section.

thankfully its the Y section part that popped off. got roadside assistance to come and get me and we fixed it in 10 min, but this time we put the clamp back on mega tight, since that was the only weak point in my system i thought that was everything cured. rode for another half hour and got to my street, when it popped off again! same hose, same section!

we did it up pretty damn tight, what else can i do?

Is your bike over heating? If not you can try cleaning the nipple and inside the hose that goes over the nipple with rubbing alcohol then tighten the clamp. Coolant makes for a slick surface. If that doesn't work I would replace all hoses in the bike

Take a good look at that clamp, make sure it's sound, not stripped at the worm-gear part. I prefer the better clamps, like after-market exhaust uses at the slip-on joint.
You can get those at a good rubber or hydraulic hose supplier. I get mine from Capital Rubber.
