Front fork seal isuues

Took bike out after the long winters nap. Noticed fork seal leaking took it into the shop as I didnt want to mess with them time or tooling they replaced both sides. Picked it up then my stator went as I was replacing stator notice the opposite side was leaking now. Took it back and they were puzzled but took it right in and replaced it again as i stood and watched small shop that allows customers to be in the area. Now it is leaking again!! and ideas on the cause?

Any nicks or damage to the fork slider from road debris?
Plus, if they did cover the fork slider with tape or such, it's possible the seal lips may have been damaged and started to leak.
I replaced the seals and dust caps on my buddy's SP2 forks with no issues.

Plain old corrosion happens on the inner tubes as well. I`ve seen it visible when the suspension is unloaded. Check for that. It can cause the leaks. ON, with winter and salt means its viable.

Thanks for the replies, The chrome looks in great shape and no tape was use in the install. The inner tube was not checked that could be a possibility. Is that just a clean up that can be done on the bike after sliders are removed? Any suggestions on anything else it could be as I would like to address this the next time he has them apart as I feel that I will be paying for it this time around. Over filling the oil wouldn't cause this issue would it?

What brand of seals????

Yes, over filling the oil would be an issue.

I'm always right.
