Anyone else LBP's turning gold?

So...umm, some of you know I purchased a set of ladybird motogp slip-ons last summer. They have maybe 1000 miles on them and both cans are beginning to turn brownish gold like that of stainless steel. The bike hasn't sat outside and I haven't tracked the bike with them on or anything so I'm surprised. I didn't expect this from titanium.

titanium changes colour with heat as well (notice the blued headers etc)
and the colouring depends on the temperature

maybe you need to repack the mufflers (also have you installed a power commander and gotten a custom map made for your bike as your bike maybe running too lean)
that will depend on how hot your bike is running, and if you always ride with the baffles thats going to trap the heat in more maybe

but it looks very slight,so maybe can just buff out
But I can ask the exhaust maker what they think

can you take some decent photos after cleaning the mufflers and I will show them to them

I suppose those little GP cans need to be repacked about every 5 -10K miles? Probably a lot more for track applications...?..

Running a map you gave me. Bike runs great. No bogging or other signs of running lean. They better not need to be repacked after only 1000 miles!!

I have tried to clean with basic cleaners but dont dare do much else with them. Suggestions?

I guess I can tell by comparing one side of the strap to the other.

But this must be one of those dreaded "smart" phone pics?

Some pictures don't do justice regardless of the device used to capture. But I can clearly see discoloration in the pic

You did, sold to a forum member. I am on the hunt for a mint low mileage 05-06. Kept the exhaust so I could use on the new one
