What might this be?

Found this solenoid (surprise) tucked away while removing the plastics to install my spal fans, one end of the hose capped and still pugged into the elect connector. I'm thinking the other hose tied into the component just in front of my dash cluster. Is this part of the flapper mod? Do I need to reconnect? Bike runs fine. I just picked this bike up about a month ago, it's an SP-2 with a PC-5.
Thanks.

Yep, it's the flapper solenoid.
Make sure the vacuum line is capped on the forward throttle body

Since I found it with one end of the hose already disconnected, I disconnected and capped the other hose coming into it and the harness then removed it.
Thanks, James much appreciated.

Found it in my lower fairing...and I don't recall doing anything where I removed this part.

There is a few of them on the bike, OEM coil mounts, at the Frankenstein bolts. I want to say there is more but I'm drawing a blank where they are at.
