Oversize Throttle Body & PCV Map??

So apparently when I bought this the last PO was told by the previous PO that his dog said his great nephews aunt etc told him it had over sized throttle bodies...

Now me not believing a word anyone says I want to know if this is true... So how do I find out?

I also need a Map for my PCV as I have a set of Jardines slip ons and BMC air filters...

Can anyone help please?

Has just realized that I don't care what it costs until I get the bill! :roll eyes: ...

Measure the diameter at the top where the velocity stacks mount and i can tell you. There are really only two possibilities. If it is an SP1, it may have SP2 TB's. The other possibility is HRC TB's off a "complete racer". This is probably not the case, as it would require the HRC ECU, wire harness, tuner box, etc.

Looking at yours, they are SP2 TBs.

Oversize Throttle Body & PCV Map??

Ok so my very rough estimate is 2.5" which when multiplied by 25 (mm in an ") you get 62.5mm and that's a very rough guesstimate of the inner diameter of the inlet. So I'm agreeing with the SP2 as I don't see anything special about these. Thanks GTS!

In regards to the PCV, any map you find for the PC3 usb will work with the V. The V software will convert it and will work.
I'm running a converted usb map on my V.

Thanks James, I read that before I'm just wondering if anyone has a map they don't mind sharing for a set of Jardines and after market air filters. I'll also be looking online.

ah never mind I found this thread!

No problem. You would be surprised the only really thing noticeable at first glance from the HRC to SP2 TB's are the Velocity stacks. They look extremely similar.
