Replacing just one fork. Problem???

Ok I have a question as someone wants to buy a fork from me to put on their bike. If they were using it for parts I wouldn't have a problem but can someone tell me about the problems they may encounter mismatching forks?

Also at least one of the forks isn't perfectly straight but I can't tell which one now they're out of the triple T's.

I just don't want them to possibly get one from me, have an accident worse case scenario and get killed.

Should not be a problem as long as the fork is the same. I would recommend they rebuild both forks to make sure springs are within tolerance to each other, replace seals, check valves, and make sure the fresh fork oil is at the proper levels. By doing that, they will be ensuring that the forks work in unison together and therefore avoid terrible handling due to different fluid levels or a spring way out of tolerance.

To be honest, if i were the buyer, i'd have them revalved, sprung, and serviced to be on the safe side.
