Jardine RT-1 Slip on install issue

I've been trying to install my RT ones and the left can appears to be further forward than the right by about 1/2 and inch...

When I look at the mids the left one is up to the stops on the down pipe as is the right but it looks to be shorter than the right where it ends. I have the left connected to the foot peg mount but the right is free because the mount is missing. I know the kids are a different shape and length by design but...

The right is all the way up to the stops on the headers / down pipe as mentioned above but the mid seems to end further up the swing arm.

Both cans do the same if I swap them over, I was contemplating getting some cut off of the right mid pipe but want to know if I'm doing something wrong... Or are they a different length? My OCD can't live with it if they are lol.

Has just realized that I don't care what it costs until I get the bill! :roll eyes: ...

Take some pictures of the questioned areas and some measurements of the mids and i'll compare them to mine.

All measured up mate... Wondering how far the mid on the right and left go into the can. I'll measure that to.

Update
Right can slips on 1.25"
Left can slips on 1.25"

I have the 1.25 mid into can measurement too.

My mids are 13.25 and 14.5 in length, measured like in the picture. if yours are the same I would check were the mids slip on the the header.

Just to make sure we are comparing apples to apples, mine is a SP2.

I hope this helps

Has the bike been down? Is the header straight?
I know dumb questions, but just throwing it out there.

What was your previous exhaust? Did those line up? If those were off too, then changes are it is not the slipons.

Left mid is 14.25 and right is 13.5 I measured like yours. Numbers on the mids are 181015 L and 181015 R

The left fits fine with alignment the right looks to be back slightly by maybe .25 of an inch where the attachment should go on the rear sets. The tabs broken off so I'm not sure exactly where it would have mounted.

My last mids were exactly the same but because the cans were shortened I can't tell if they were lined up or not because it wasn't as obvious I didn't check.

It might be the mids length after just measuring that's off a total of .5 of an inch.... Weird!
