About the flapper modification:-
Would i need to do anything to the powercommander 3 with regard to getting it set up for running without the flapper valve in the front snorkel.
Only reason I'm asking is I can't find any info on it, but on the dynojet website/ downloadable pc3 maps there's a map on there for a slip on system with flapper mod. This has now got me a little puzzled.
There's nothing to adjust on your PC3 regarding the flapper Just remove it and you're done.
In fact, as I understand it, having the flapper operational will hinder the performance of a Power Commander or any other fuel management system, so you want it disconnected.
The flapper is merely there as a management device to meet government requirements for noise. No other purpose.
