How good is our stock rotors?

I'm the newbie rebuilding a 04 RC51. New tires arrived yesterday so I'll be pulling the wheels tomorrow. These wheels are chrome so after a good polish and new tires they should be looking real nice. But our rotors, are they what should stay on a street driven bike? I ask because some if the after market rotors "look cool". I like function over looks anyday of the week (just take a look at my 87 Omni turbo car...UGLY! And WAY fast!) but if I can add more pleasing to look at rotors and increase stopping then it sounds like a wise investment. Any opinions?

The SP's stock rotors are a jewel.........

Especially SP2 rotors (0.5mm thicker than SP1's)

You can only go to Brembo if you want more out of them....
