Injectors are not spraying?
1st...I did a search on here and although I did not read every post I did not see the answer I am looking for.
So I took the wiring harness off my bike and did a good once over on it, cleaned the connectors and reinstalled it with some new dielectric grease on all of them. Yes, it is possible I did not hook something up because the main reason I removed the harness is the previous owner had cut multiple wires. I am still in the process of tracing each one but I wanted to verify tonight the pump worked. It does.
The tank and air box is off for easy access. Like I said, I still need to check spark and other wiring harness connections (I think the owner ran LED lights at one time, that is the only think I can think of). However, when I submerged the pump in fuel turned the key it primed right. I even checked the return line to make sure there was no blockages. When I hit the start button no fuel is sprayed from any of the injectors and I do not hear the pump running anymore. I assume the pump needs to run during start up to keep pressure correct. It could be the FPR, but is there a way to check it instead of just buying a new one?
I recently flipped a Blazer Xtream and the pump primed but did not produce the pressure needed to fire the injectors. I assume that is the case here as well. However, I am hoping that one of you could say "Canty, check XYZ connector for voltage to ensure the injectors are getting fire" or maybe, "Canty, check this or that for correct fuel pressure which should be ???" That is, unless you guys have any other ideas? I have downloaded the manual but it is on my laptop and my Malamute thought the charger cable might taste good, so I have to wait till tomorrow for the new one to arrive.
Any ideas would be very helpful guys.
