Power commander grounding wire to short??

Tried to install my power commander on my rc and noticed the the grounding wire is to short to reach the positive connection on the battery. Atleast 8 inches to short. Is there any type grounding wire I can use to connect to the exsiting grounding wire and then continue onto the battery? Any help would be nice.

It's a special type of wire you need to do this. Is called 16 ga stranded copper wire, 14 ga will work too. Because you're using it with a ground make sure that you get the black stuff.

Why would you connect a grounding wire to a positive terminal?

That was my first thought.
Don't make the mistake of connecting that single wire to the positive post. It belongs on the negative post.
