Chain tension ... tight then loose ... tight ... loose...

Good Day,

My 2006 rc51 has about 5k miles. The chain had uneven tension when rear tire was rotated. At one point it was tight then another loose,,, etc...

I put on a NEW front & rear sprocket and NEW X-chain ( JT 520 SUPERSPROX CHAIN & SPROCKETS KIT)

Still does the same thing.

The front and rear sprockets look as even & straight as can be.

any ideas?

thanks,
nicholas

Do you have a rear stand to put the bike on?

Take a look at the jack bolts and threaded area where you adjust this out. Make sure they are not stripped.
