Question QuickTurn throttle cross-fitment?

hello gents,

right now i have the OEM housing and 1/6th HRC tube. need something more fancy-like

looking to install a QuickAction throttle, Rev2 by MotionPro perhaps.

as with most things RC51.....nobody lists the fat pig anymore

which bikes/cable length also fit the RC51?

i was thinking maybe CBR1000 but what year etc

other options for throttle kits that are equally as good as Rev2 system?

Hi Wibbly,

thanks for your response, yea i remember you mentioning this when we were discussing on your build thread.

I will definitely look into these Euro units, at this point im even debating leaving the HRC 1/6th if i cant find something soon.

It also nice yoyodyne lists these specifically for the RC51 too, im tired of cross-referencing everything haha

P.S. Fan brackets work great

Cheers

awesome

i used the euro racing kit on my old rc51, my ktm rc8r, my cbr 600rr, and now my new rc51. they are fantastic. very well made, very nice action, and three cams for varying quickness so to speak, but just put the biggest one in. you'll end up there anyway

Wibbly, what is the final turn on the biggest cam? I can't imagine much less than 1/6 turn.

These cost 45 when I bought mine, been using it for a couple years and wouldn't go back to 1/4 turn

the big cam I'd say is about an 8th turn. maybe 45 degrees from nothing to WOT. much heavier pull as a result
