Fuel Pressure Regulator finally got me...

About a month ago the RC started running rich and one day actually started this choking fit when stopping and it died on me a few times. I knew immediately what the problem might have been but vacation was right around the corner so she sat until I got back. Fast forward to last week and she runs great...the again randomly she poops on me.

Finally I took the 15 minutes it takes to replace the regulator (Turnone makes it a snap!) and she runs amazing. I assume the reg was pissing out for some time and I just didn't notice the slowly declining performance.

Yay for a simple sucess story! So that's 11 years on the OEM regulator (18k miles) and I bought another just in case there's a zombie apocolypse.

Speaking of fuel regulators, what kind of results do you get with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on a RC?

An adjustable regulator can lean out or enrich the overall system, but it cannot replace a PCIII.

Has anyone combined an adjustable pressure regulator and a PCIII, airbox, and exhaust?
