Uranium spark plugs longetivity

I replaced out plugs and inserted a pair of Iridium (not uranium lol) plugs about 4 years ago. Whats the expected life span of these? Just thinking of what I need to do this year

Iridium tipped spark plugs tend to drop off performance after about 4000 miles. It's not much usually about 2-3hp, but we have verified it on the dyno many times over the years. The weird thing is once they drop the performance off they never really get any worse from that point. Installing a new set though snaps that extra couple horsepower right back.

That's some good info right there. Thanks LDH.

The Service Manual calls for replacement on SP1's - Every 8,000 miles.
Interestingly it calls for SP2's - every 16,000 inspect, every 32,000 replace.
Weird. Why is it that Honda says the SP2's can go up to 4 times as long?
