Will a SP2 crankcase fit in a SP1?

As far as I know the only difference between the motors is the cylinder heads.

The SP2 has an insert at the rear of the crankcase for the smaller diameter swingarm bolt. Just remove the insert to use in an SP1.

Reference Item 29 in the parts diagram for the SP2 insert.
