Exhaust Slip On Opinions

The M4 exhaust canisters on my bike were damaged with dents on both pipes so I decided to order replacement slip on exhaust cans. I found some new inexpensive Carbon ones on Amazon and curious what opinions are on replacing the M4 stainless canisters with the somewhat shorter Carbon Fiber cheap cans. I really did not want to spend $700 for replacement canisters on a bike that is worth less than $4000 but still wanted something that looked decent. The bike is a 2001 SP1 and do not have a power commander. I am hoping performance of the bike will not be adversely effected by changing the canisters.

The cheap exhaust cans arrived and they are about 3 inches shorter than the M4 canisters and installed without a problem. The sound is almost identical to the M4 except just slightly louder which I donít mind. My concern is what they will look like a few months from now after a few heat/cool cycles but for now they look much better imo than the dented M4 cans. They are certainly lighter and performance of the bike did not seem to change. Total price for both cans was $ 91 from Amazon. I know I am a cheap bxxxxxx..
