Speedometer Resetting when Key Turned Off

Just completed the repair of the fan and the fan mod switch on my SP1 and all working as it should. However, I noticed that every time I turn the key off and then back on, my trip odometer is going back to zero. Everything else looks normal but wondering why this is happening? Not sure this is much of a problem except that I like to reset the trip odometer after every "fill up" and wondering if any other problems will occur as a result of this?

Recheck the wiring you just did and anything near it that may have been disturbed.

The circuit that retains the dash settings is called "odometer". It's in the fuse box and so far as I recall is a red/green in the big grey connector. If this isn't powered continuously you'll lose your settings

U guys both “nailed it”. I rechecked fuse box and the 10 amp odometer fuse was loose. That corrected the problem. Thanks.
