Now what the heck?

Ok, I've always used image shack to post my pics here. Just in the last week or so, this site does something strange that it's never done before. You know how there's always the yellow bar above the picture so you can click on it to enlarge? Well now this site launches another tab linking to all my pictures in Image Shack and the viewer now has complete access to all my pictures, even tho they're set to private only.
I've put these same pictures on two other sites, this issue doesn't happen. They just enlarge the picture, like this site used to do.

I'm pretty concerned about this, to the point I will stop putting pictures up if it continues. I contacted Image shack, still waiting to hear from them, but like I said, other sites aren't doing it, so it's pretty obvious it's coming from this site, not Image Shack.

Can anyone help?

I've got tons of pics and deleting that account would remove all the pictures I've posted here, and on other sites. So changing image hosting isn't really a very good option for me.

This is the only forum that is linking back to my personal page on IS. That's what I'd like to get resolved, then all my pictures can stay intact on this forum and the others too.

That's interesting. I tried logging out, closing the browser, then visiting this forum as a guest. Same thing happened. So then I logged out of IS, closed the browser again, then came back to this forum, as a guest. I clicked on the recent pics I uploaded, and still the same thing. It launched a new tab, and landed on that picture in IS. At that point, you simply need to scroll left or right, and you can sit there and go through all my pics on IS.
Weird. Both Chrome and IE browsers do it.

It's not that big of a deal really, I only have pics that I've uploaded to this forum and 2 others, so nothing sensitive or too private. It just kind of irks me how computers are running us more and more, instead of prompting us to ask if we will allow these new actions.

I've always used Photobucket....free and no issues. Also, I'm using Chrome.

This is one of the reasons i don't put anything private or important in online storage, if its for important enough for backing up then stick with hard copies...I'm sure a few celebs are wishing they used a similar policy now
